About Me
I'm Aanya Harshavat, a high school sophomore with a passion for psychology, and making a positive impact in my community through storytelling.
At 15, I published my first children’s book, Annie and Froggy - Make a Friend, which I’ve had the privilege of reading to elementary school students across the district as a way to share and promote psychological concepts in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
I believe that young people have the power to inspire others and create meaningful change—and I'm committed to being part of that change through writing, education, and community service.

My Book

Annie and Froggy - Make a Friend
A heartwarming story about emotions - this book gently guides young readers to understand and embrace all their feelings—big or small—while discovering that it’s okay to feel scared, sad, or worried.
Annie is seven years old, and Froggy - her beloved frog companion - is her very best friend. As Annie starts second grade in a new city and a new school, she faces big feelings like fear and worry. With Froggy by her side, Annie learns how to calm herself, find her courage, and understand that all emotions - even the scary ones - are okay. This gentle, reassuring story helps young readers discover that there are no "bad" emotions - only feelings that deserve care and understanding.
Helping children learn about emotions through storytelling.
